What?
The Daily Noobs is seeking users who are interested in participating in an open beta testing program designed to test the usability and functionality of the news portion of this site.
When?
The beta testing began on February 1st and will run through February 15th. There is no sign up required, simply participating will earn you money.
Beta testing is now open!
How?
Payment for the beta testing will be determined simply by the amount a given user participates. It comes down to one simple fact: the more you participate in the site, the more you earn! Participation and the aforementioned payment are defined as (in US Dollars):
The bonuses, however, will count above the regular earnings and therefore have no limit. What this means is that every single participant should be able to make $25 without ever needing to find or report any bugs; more if they do happen to stumble across something not functioning as it should.
We will additionally continue to pay members of this site for participation even after the beta period has ended. The rules will be slightly different, however. Payment will be calculated based on participation similar to that defined above, but the payout will be given to a randomly chosen group of participants. This lottery payment will work on a monthly schedule, with each month's earnings starting new. For additional incentive for our beta testers, the first three months of the lottery payments will give a significantly higher probability of winning to our initial beta testers. That means more free money for you.
Why?
The Daily Noobs is a small, but growing site. We would like to create a unique community built on lively and interesting discussion, and we would like you to help! In able to provide the features you'd like to see, we need to hear what you'd want - that's the reason we're paying you!
Additional Info
Just a little additional information here. We are currently developing a system to keep track of every user's earnings in realtime, allowing every participating member to simply check a web page in their User Control Panel (UCP) for up-to-date statistics on their current earnings (except the bonuses, of course).
We will additionally be hand-counting all articles, posts, bug reports, and final reports to ensure that each user be given the correct earnings based on their participation. We don't want any bad feelings over false payments due to system errors.
And finally, we will be tracking all post ratings made to ensure no user (or group of users) attempts to deceive us in an attempt to make more money for themselves or ruin the profitability of other members. Any such action will result in an immediate and permanent ban from this website (and associated sites) and the forfeiture of all earned money.
As usual, staff members are not eligible for this program for obvious reasons.

- $2 for every submitted article being approved for the main page
- $1 for every reply to a news article rated with a score of 4 or higher
- $5 bonus for every verifiable bug or site error reported to the staff
